Troll grows by 15% and plans to expand into new markets in Europe and Asia
The lighting company, Troll, belonging to the Group called J. Feliu de la Penya and located in Canovelles, Barcelona, Spain, achieved a consolidated turnover of 51 million euros in 2007, an increase of 15% over the previous year's figure. For the current tax year, the company is forecast to reach 60 million euros.
The growth of Troll is related to the opening of new markets and expanding our range of products. Along these lines, the company is planning to open a commercial branch in Holland. In Egypt, the company has reached an agreement with one of the main groups in the electrical and lighting sector to create a joint venture called SELCO that will manufacture and market products under the brand name, Troll. In China, as well as a manufacturing operation, Troll is laying down the bases to develop a local company in order to market products to this market.
