Hesperia TowerThe Hesperia chain entrusted the project and the construction of a five-star hotel, convention centre, sports centre and indoor panoramic restaurant, to the British architect Richard Rogers and the Spanish architects, Luís Alonso and Sergi Balaguer. They designed a tower 105 metres high with 27 floors, and a building for the Hesperia office headquarters, in addition to an apartment-hotel and commercial outlets. The assessment carried out by Troll, together with the architects and interior designers for the Hesperia chain, has outlined solutions necessary for adapting the lighting to coincide with the expectations of this spectacular hotel. It is a technological milestone, destined to become another tourist icon on the sky-line of Barcelona. |
