The concept of Disc lighting fixtures has been designed around a set of cylindrical luminaires featuring versatile illumination and a look that is solid and translucent, created by using opaque and translucent materials. Based on concepts of shape where color, opacity and translucency converge to show what is happening inside the piece in abstract form.
The illumination is versatile because the fixtures can emit light directly or indirectly, in addition to laterally, which allows for different applications, either surface mounted or hanging.
Colored filters mean that Disc can be customized by colored filters fitted to the lower part or the sides.
