Angli HotelThe Eurostars Angli Hotel, a work being carried out by the architectural team comprised by Marta Recasens and Joaquin Díez-Cascón, is a design hotel situated in the upper quarter of Barcelona, a concept based on a play of contrasts. The building, of pure lines, emphasizes the play of different volumes and transparencies that take advantatge of natural light in daytime hours and it is a coloured appeal by night. The architectural design is moved to the interior building by using colour as aesthetic resource and for distinguish spaces. Light is being integrated in ceilings, walls and floors, combined by its furniture, paintings... that makes nobody looks at it with indifference, reaching “the provocation and reaction of the audience”, as it was conceived by the architects. Troll offered its wide range of products to the architects and its wide capacity to design tailor-made solutions to meet specific needs as light and colour effects. |
