J. Feliu de la Penya acquires Aga Light
The operation has been supported financially by COFIDES with resources from the FIEX (Fund for Foreign Investments).
The Catalan group, that has been operating for over 80 years in the professional lighting market, has become one of the companies offering the widest range of products anywhere in Europe as it continues to consolidate its international growth in order to expand its portfolio even further.
J.Feliu de la Penya already owns brands like Troll (technical lighting), Metalarte (decorative lighting), Sagelux (emergency lighting) and Led & Co (LED), and now will include the brand Aga Light that specialises in lighting for sanitary areas, commercial and industrial lighting, office blocks and sporting arenas.
Aga Light is one of the largest companies in the Polish lighting market, with a turnover of around 18 million euros, with its headquarters in Warsaw and a production plan in Jacentów, employing a total of 250 people. This operation means the group will boost its presence in a key catchment area, as well as obtaining market synergies in its more traditional geographical areas.
